Pre-application consultations are taking place for proposals to develop the remaining part of the Wapping Wharf redevelopment. The site is between Museum Street and Rope Walk behind M-Shed.

The Society has made a formal submission in response to the planning application for the redevelopment of the Zoo Gardens. We think it would be better being kept either as an open space or redeveloped for housing.

We support the principle of the redevelopment of this central brownfield site, but we are concerned about the design, height and liveability of the buildings and the impact they will have on the surrounding area.
