Design Awards

For many years, the Civic Society has made awards recognising good quality design – buildings and improvements to the public realm. The awards are sponsored by Savills, real estate advisers and planning specialists – for which we are very grateful.

For the 2023 awards there were three fundamental criteria: projects were completed by the end of calendar year 2022; were located within the City of Bristol; and were visible from a public place.

If you have sites in mind for the 2024 Awards, please send nominations by email to awards@bristolcivicsociety.org.uk. Ideally, nominations should include both the address of the project and contact details for the owner and/or the project designer/manager. The deadline for nominations is the end of February (and there are already 11 for 2024).
