The Society generally supports Galliford Try’s proposal to develop 345 Bath Road, a site on the city side of the St. Mary Redcliffe cemetery on the Bath Road.
On the south-west corner of the junction of Marsh Bridge and Albert Road with the Feeder Road, this scheme would build accommodation for 640 students in blocks of 7, 8 and 14-floors.
The Society welcomes the construction of more homes in the centre of the city, but we regret that we cannot support this planning application to build 64, 1- and 2-bedroom flats at 7 Redcross Street.
The proposal for the former Filling Station is to build 152 new dwellings in four buildings comprising a 15-storey tower, two central blocks of 6 and 7-storeys and a 3-storey eastern block.
