In this Zoom meeting, Josh Nesfield and Nigel Dyke, of the recently-formed Ashton Court Mansion Trust, describe the progress to date and the Trust’s plans for the future, and answer your questions.
The future of Ashton Court Mansion has been debated for as long as the City Council has owned the estate. Now, following the efforts of the late Norman Routledge and the Bristol Historic Buildings Trust, a new charitable trust has been set up with the specific aim of securing its future- bringing it into community ownership and community use, and restoring it in phases over the years ahead. This involves, among other things, a ‘community share scheme’, which our speakers will explain. Details of the trust, its business plan and the share offer are on its website.
Our speakers are both trustees of the Trust: Josh Nesfield is Vice-Chair and Nigel Dyke is secretary.
Members will be invited by email to book a place.
