A Zoom consultation event with developer Umberslade on their proposals for Wapping Wharf North, an important site in a prominent position on the Floating Harbour.
Following the meeting members will then be able to feed their views to the Society’s Major Sites Group which will help develop the Society’s detailed response to the plans.
Wapping Wharf North will be the last piece of the jigsaw in the regeneration of this once derelict site. The proposed development includes homes, retail and commercial space. The plans will also secure the future of CARGO, which has created around 450 jobs in the retail and hospitality industries.
In addition to the Civic Society event there will be two public drop-in sessions being held at CARGO Work on Tuesday 21 June and Wednesday 22 June from 4.00pm – 7.00pm
