A recent article in the Bristol Evening post identified over 30 new developments across the city to increase housing provision, a lot is happening or is in advanced planning stages, from Filton Brabazon in the north, the central area around Temple Mead , Western Harbour and raft of exciting new schemes in the south of the city.
Bristol City Council officers will give an overview of a few interesting developments concentrating on South Bristol which are aimed to provide much needed residential housing with associated amenities. Schemes to be covered include Hengrove Park one of Bristol’s biggest housing developments. An innovative scheme on Airport Road involving the erection of ‘flat-pack’ IKEA homes, we will hear about the Filwood Broadway plan, Inns Court scheme and mentions of the Western Slopes scheme.
