A reprise of last autumn’s highly popular event, the visit will provide a rare chance for Civic Society members to tour the ‘Wigwam’, the group’s meeting place. It contains a wealth of artefacts collected over the years, as well as paintings by past and present artist members. We will hear about the group’s long and fascinating history in the company of Curator Michael Newstead and Archivist Michael Long.
Bristol 1904 Arts is based at The Red Lodge, Park Row, Bristol BS1 5LJ. The visit on Thursday 1st February 2024, will start at 11am and last for up to two hours.
Members will be invited by email to join the visit.
