Join Angela Nutbrown, Civic Society member and Blue Badge Guide, on an early evening tour of the public art in and around Bristol’s Millennium Square.
When the £97 million @Bristol development was planned and put in place for the year 2000, there was money available for permanent and temporary public art – statues, computerised light installations, water features, even public art in the award-winning car park.
How has this art fared, and has it stood the test of time?
This summer evening’s walk will start outside the Aquarium in Anchor Square, stops 8-10 times around the environs of Millennium Square and ends near Pero’s Bridge. It starts at 6.30pm from outside the Aquarium in Anchor Square and ends at Pero’s Bridge. It will last about 90 minutes. There is a booking fee of £1.
Members will be invited by email to book a place.
