Square Bay, the developer, has now made a planning application for outline permission for plot 1 which is for an academic building for Bristol University. There is detailed planning application for the other plots. The Society has responded to support the application and made comments similar to those made pre-application. The height of two of the apartment blocks that would face the Canal are reduced but, in the Society’s view, they are still too tall and would harm the character of the Canalside.
