Land at rear of 100 Temple Street, Redcliff
The image shows a new building behind a new courtyard with a tree to the left of the Council offices at 100 Temple Street. The Society unreservedly supports the redevelopment of this vacant site. The mass and design of the proposed office building is superior to a lapsed planning permission.
The Society welcomes:
- A design that reflects and complements the articulation of the dominant neighbouring building, 100 Temple Street.
- A design that will animate the Portwall facing elevation.
- The creation of a pocket park in front of the building and its future, private maintenance.
- The cooperative use of the pocket park and the space under 100 Temple Street Council offices.
