A series of city-centre walks led by Gordon Young, focusing on commemorative plaques and statue pediments. Our streetscape has stories to recount.
- Walk I: 12th October 2022 Starts at 10.30am at the Victoria Rooms, Clifton, BS8 1SA. From there, the route follows Queens Road, Berkeley Square, Great George Street, College Green, St Augustine’s Parade, Christmas Steps, Perry Road and Park Row, ending at the City Museum.
- Walk II: 17th November 2022. This walk will progress from the Centre into Queen Square, Wapping Wharf, Narrow Quay, Millennium Square, Cathedral Walk and Deanery Road.
- Walk III: 1st December 2022. From the Centre to Lewin’s Mead, Tower Lane, Broad Street, Corn Street, St Nicholas Street, Wine Street, Union Street and Castle Park.
