Following his fascinating talk on the history of Bristol council housing, Pete Insole has offered to take a group on a study walk of the Hillfields area, the location of Bristol’s first council houses.
The walk is booked for Thursday 28th July at 6:30 pm
The walk will start and finish from Hillfields Library and will be about 1.5 km or about 1 mile in length. It will probably take about one and a half hours with the stops. The walk is all on the level along pavements or tarmac footpaths. There is no charge for the walk.
Members will be invited to the event by email. Event is fully booked.
