Heritage Forum, Thurs 25 Feb 2016

Bristol in 1934This is a new event so please put it in your diaries and come along. It starts at 7.30 pm at the Unitarian Chapel in Brunswick Square.

Bristol Civic Society is taking the lead in co-ordinating the launch of a Heritage Forum for Bristol. This is an exciting and very timely initiative. The Forum is being launched with the support of both Historic England and Bristol City Council. At the event there will be speakers from Historic England, Bristol City Council and the Civic Society. Proposals will be set within a national and regional context and will relate to the City Council’s own Heritage Framework.

We will be presenting our own indicative ideas for the future operation of the Forum. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion. The aim will be to identify a set of “next steps” leading up to a Heritage Conference in the Autumn.

There will be further details nearer the time but in the meantime please reserve the date & get in touch if you have any immediate ideas, thoughts, questions.
