On 15th May the Bristol Civic Society and the University of the West of England’s Centre for Transport and Society held a well-attended event that focused on future possibilities for electric cars and transport on demand.
The four speakers and their slides (in PDF format) were:
- Douglas Sole (Go Ultra Low West Programme Co-ordinator) : Electric Vehicles – Future Timeline.
- Dr Nick Small (Head of Strategic Development and the Built Environment, Stagecoach UK): Operating New Public Transport Concepts
- Sue Arrowsmith (Sue Arrowsmith Consulting): Future Travel Choices for Bristol
- Professor Graham Parkhurst (Professor of Sustainable Mobility, UWE): New Technologies: the Key to Making the Right Choices about Future Travel?
Four members of the public who have tried electric vehicles and transport on demand gave brief but interesting talks on their experiences.
