The Society has responded to the Council’s consultation on initial plans for a Frome Gateway Regeneration Framework. Frome Gateway is an area of land alongside Newfoundland Way at the bottom of the M32, through which the river Frome passes.
We supported most of what is proposed, whilst reserving judgement on the greater detail to come through later in the year. We expressed some concern on loss of industrial space, and lack of area-specific guidance on building heights.
