A guided walk with Pete Insole, Principal Historic Environment Officer for Bristol City Council.
Starting at 10.30am in Fremantle Square (A in the image), Pete’s walk traces a route via Kingsdown Parade and Royal Fort Gardens to Brandon Hill (B) looking at archaeological and surviving evidence.
Pete devised and manages the multi-award winning Know Your Place and now advises on various spin-offs, such as Know Your Place West of England and Bristol University’s Know Your Bristol projects.
