The Bristol Beacon, formerly the Colston Hall, opened as a concert venue in 1867 and has been a much loved place for Bristolians to enjoy music and theatre for many decades. Bristol Civic Society members now have the opportunity to tour the splendidly refurbished building, including some of the parts not normally accessible to the public, and to hear about its chequered past and exciting future, guided by a member of the Beacon’s Facilities Team.
