We have responded to the Government’s consultation on changes to the National Planning Policy Framework to help meet housing targets.

We welcome this proposal for North Street which includes the refurbishment and reuse the heritage Brewery Tower, built in 1904.

We cannot support proposals for the Galleries in their present form until substantial alterations are made.

We object to the reduction in the proportion of affordable housing in revised proposals for the former Barts Spices site.

We comment on revised proposals for the Iron Works site on plots 2 and 3 of the Silverthorne Lane scheme.

We didn’t feel able to support these proposals for a roof terrace because of the impact on views of the Cathedral from the east side ...

The application maintains the principles of the previous scheme. Façade treatment, building access and excessive shade could all be improved.

Proposals for an apartment building providing 23 flats, all to be let at social rents.
