Our 31st blue plaque is the first blue plaque to be installed on a working prison in the UK. Placed on the Old Main Gate to Horfield Prison, it recognises Theresa Garnett, a suffragette who was imprisoned there in 1909.
A blue plaque to Eleanor Addison Phillips has been unveiled outside the Reception Office of Clifton High School. It has been supported by Bristol Soroptimists, the Rotary Club of Bristol and Clifton High School.
