Located at the former Marks & Spencer’s in Broadmead, SPARKS Bristol is a department store with a difference. From fashion and food to nature and energy, each department is designed to support Bristol people in taking easy (and often money-saving) measures on climate, equality and wellbeing.
On the ground floor there is a huge range of shops, installations, events and more. Upstairs is a hub for local artists, offering affordable studios, plus rehearsal and performance space.
Bristol Civic Society members will get a guided tour of the store, including a look behind the scenes at how this innovative addition to our city’s retail landscape operates.
The visit starts at 11am and will cost £5. Members will be invited by email to book a place.
