YTL Arena, tour of the Brabazon hangars starting at 10am.
There is a current planning application for permission to develop an Arena in the Brabazon hangars at Filton. The Civic Society arranged a visit to the former airfield and to the hangars quite recently but this trip is focused solely on plans for the Arena. We thought this would be of great interest to members.
Numbers are limited to 30 – the capacity of the coach which we will use on site. We will give detailed joining instructions to those who are booked on the visit. Small booking charge of £5 / head.
Schedule
- 10am arrive at Flight Operations building, Filton airfield. Tea and coffee followed by presentation.
- 10.45am tour of hangars (via coach).
- 12pm return to Flight Operations building, depart.
