A Zoom meeting starting at 7:30pm with Stuart Hatton and Esme Hatton (of Umberslade the developer) and the architect, Adam Spall from AHR Architects.
The developers of Wapping Wharf have recently published their proposals for another stage of the site’s regeneration, which has been gradually advanced over the past 15 years.
The site is now home to 1,000 people along with 45 businesses. It is proposed that it will eventually provide a further 750 homes, with 80 affordable apartments.
The latest proposals will provide a permanent, much-improved home for the CARGO (the current container-housed businesses), 245 homes (with 20% affordable), 5,000sqm of flexible workspaces, and new public streets and spaces.
The Zoom meeting will be an opportunity to find out the details of the proposals and the thinking behind them. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers, and discussion.
