To commemorate Sir George White (1853–1916) there will be an unveiling of a Bristol Civic Society Blue Plaque on 10th May 2023 at 5 pm at 71 Cotham Hill, Bristol. His philanthropic work included financing an extension to the BRI hospital. The commemorative blue plaque will be unveiled on Cotham House, Cotham Hill where he lived. The unveiling by the Lord Mayor, will be a very short public ceremony.
