Every year in early summer the public - through the Evening Post - and our
members are encouraged to find sites anywhere in Bristol which they
believe are an important improvement to their environment. The selectors ask
for all nominations by the first week of June and these refer to sites
completed in the previous year.
This award, a high quality blue plaque and certificate, is supported by our
generous sponsors Bristol Water.
The Award ceremony is usually held in early November and takes place at the
site of one of the winners.The winning plaque carries considerable prestige
and the award ceremony creates great interest not only among the winners but
throughout the city.
