The Panel normally objected to the creation of car parking in front gardens.  However, in this case, if the pier adjoining the party boundary wall and the matching pier were reinstating in matching Bathstone the Panel would accept a car parking place. The opening must be kept as narrow as possible. The repair/reinstatement of the piers would be a conservation gain.
