City-wide Planning Policy

The coalition government is making changes to the planning system, to promote development, reduce bureaucracy, and empower communities.  We are watching these proposals as they emerge, for instance the Localism Bill, and contributing to lobbying nationally by Civic Voice.

Meanwhile, Bristol Council continues to develop its planning policy, for instance through the Bristol City Centre Area Action Plan.  We are playing our part in helping to shape this.
